History of Beta Chapter
Kappa Sigma Epsilon
The second chapter of Kappa Sigma Epsilon fraternity – ‘Beta’, was established in 1960 at the State University of New York Agricultural and Technical Institute at Delhi, NY (now known as SUNY Delhi).
First becoming a probationary colony of Kappa Sigma Epsilon fraternity, the fledgling Beta chapter was officially recognized by Delhi Tech on May 3, 1960. The charter membership then remained uninitiated associates until the fall of 1960.
In October 1960, a delegation of Alpha chapter brothers from the State University Agricultural and Technical Institute at Alfred (now known as SUNY Alfred) travelled to Delhi and officially initiated the charter members of Beta chapter into Kappa Sigma Epsilon fraternity on Oct. 21, 1960.
The first president of Beta Chapter, Kappa Sigma Epsilon fraternity was Eugene R. Polisseni.
